St George’s is a thriving independent boarding and day school for girls aged 11-18 offering an ambitious, connected and future-facing education. Awarded ‘excellent’ in its November 2022 ISI inspection, the report speaks of young women who ‘demonstrate healthy self-knowledge, well developed study skills, first-class social skills and an awareness of the world around them.’ The St George’s ethos, and education, focuses on developing Confident, Capable and Connected young women who are thoroughly prepared for the future of their choice. Set in a 33 acre site in the centre of Ascot, close to Windsor Great Park and Heathrow Airport, St George’s is widely accessible. Pupils enjoy easy access to an array of ‘big school’ facilities, and yet the school is intentionally small, allowing girls to develop strong relationships across the diverse school community. Whilst two-thirds of boarders are British, the School enjoys a wonderful mix of girls from different countries who bring fresh ideas, cultural thinking and experience to the school. St George’s was recently awarded the sought after Google for Education Reference School status and its friendly atmosphere, small classes, strong pastoral care and extensive opportunities for individual development make St George’s stand out from the crowd.
