Supportive, Inclusive, Inspiring
Plymouth College is a non-selective independent school for pupils from the ages of 3 to 18. The school offers a wide range of GCSE and A Level courses and has been recognized as offering one of the highest value added educations of any independent school in Devon and Cornwall. Boarders, at Plymouth College, are all accommodated on site, in one of the 3 boarding houses. The school has an enviable world-wide reputation for sport, providing a wide range of sport for all from a friendly fame of football to the rigour training required to become an Olympic Champion. We compete at all major sports and have a world renowned performance sport programme for Swimming, Modern Pentathlon, Fencing, Triathlon and Diving. In the 2016 Rio Olympics the school was represented by 10 former and current students. An extensive extra-curricular programme offers over 60 activities per term including: Ten Tors; Cadets; Sailing; Drama; Music; Pre-Med; Entrepreneurial Society as well as many others. However, what really separates Plymouth College from other schools is its success culture. Success is celebrated by staff and students alike. It is this culture that ensures our students win places to the world’s top universities; Olympic Gold medals and scholarship to the UK’s top creative art and music colleges.
