King’s College is a co-educational boarding school that comprises King’s Prep for children from nursery to Year 8 and King’s College senior school from Year 9 to Sixth Form. The schools are set on separate sites in wonderful spacious settings within the large county town of Taunton, just two-hours from London and Heathrow Airport. Over half of our pupils are full boarders, and day pupils are able to board at weekends, creating a friendly home-from-home environment. High educational achievement is the principle aim of the schools. Children at King’s College Prep achieve 100% pass rate at Common Entrance, whilst pupils' GCSE results at King’s College regularly top the government local league tables, and the 2022 A-level results were one of the best in Somerset. Our highly-qualified staff are passionate about their subjects and enrichment opportunities are extensive. Pupils enjoy activities such as performing arts, outdoor education, riding lessons at our off-site equestrian centre, Forest School, DT in our state-of-the-art facilities, a range of sports as well as CCF.
