From submitting applications to exams, results day and, for many families, leaving home to study abroad, an ambitious education path asks a great deal of a child, and of their parents. It is at these pivotal moments that the relationship strains most, just when a child needs your support the most. At Academic Asia, we walk beside families through every step of the admissions journey. We know a strong application matters, yet what truly helps a child through the pressure is a steady relationship at home. This coffee gathering, created for AA parents, is a relaxed conversation about putting the relationship before correction when the pressure is high, reading the message beneath your child's behaviour, repairing a relationship honestly, and staying close when your child is studying far from home. The session is led by Academic Asia Client Relations Manager and Certified Facilitator of the Effective Parenting Workshop, Tara Lau, co-hosted with clinical psychologist Dr. Adrian Wong. Places are limited, so early registration is recommended.
