A World-class Centre of Excellence
Our Quaker heritage- Sidcot School was founded in 1699, and the Quaker values of truth, integrity, respect, simplicity, equality, and sustainability are fundamental to school life. In practice, this means that we value each member of our school community equally, which results in gentle and friendly relationships between staff and students. Our location- Based within 160 acres of countryside, Sidcot benefits from being situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty whilst being within easy access to two major cultural centres: Bristol and Bath. In this setting, students can enjoy the peaceful rural environment of the school and immerse themselves in city life at the weekends. Huge variety of pathways- At Sidcot, we want every student to thrive. We recognise that children learn differently and enjoy different subjects. That's why we offer a wide range of subjects to study through various pathways, from a 1-year GCSE programme to a one-term immersion programme and the internationally renowned IB Diploma.
Message from School
When students choose to board at Sidcot, they are not just joining a school, but a warm, supportive community. Here, they can live, work, and play, knowing that they are valued and well cared for. Boarding at Sidcot offers students the perfect balance. They have the space to concentrate on their academic work, while also having the opportunity to participate in a diverse range of extra-curricular activities that might not be feasible at home. We look forward to talking to you during the Academic Asia fair and sharing more about what makes Sidcot such a special school.
